That applies to pretty much anything. Right use of technology definitely benefits us in a lot of ways. Communication, Medical , Entertainment and Science. These advancement help us in everyway. And i believe that it is now essential for human's survival to have these advancements. Though the opposite also can be said if technology is used incorrectly. The most destructive is the use of advenced technology in warfare. We are all aware of what this entails. What can push humans forward can most likely be the reason also of our demise

The negative effects of technology in warfare is worst than we can think of. It will bring chaos and complete destruction of all humanity. So its sad you see if ever human race will be instinct will be by the same technology advances that should be help us instead of causing our own demise.

I also think that technology causes a higher demand of consumption of energy, so it causes an increase in greenhouse gas emission which has a negative effect in our environment as well.
