I think that is what he himself will do. Publicizing himself is obviously not a good idea and I am not sure there is much that he could do. Maybe if he thinks Bitcoin will end up going down he should transfer his Bitcoin into cash and leave the scene entirely. In my opinion he wouldnt really want to do that at all though.

If I were Satoshi, I will find solution for scalalblity issue with long term view and I will ask bitcoiners to hold bitcoins for future use and I will also speculate about bitcoin's future in millions to make people to invest into it.
