i would say option one is more plausible.

accumulate is the best thing. Stock up Bitcoin, and lock it somewhere you cannot touch for 13 years. Wait till 2030, probably $500,000 Bitcoin a piece might happen. If not then even at least 5% of that price can still give us a huge profit.
