I don't think bitcoin trading will give you always profit because there are times bitcoin will decrease and it take months before it will pump again so that's not always profit

Yes either bitcoin trading nor altcoin trading will give you fixed income as you will be also making loss in it which will lead to have negative or no income so you can never expect steady and stable income from trading.

Altcoin trading may give some fixed income because altcoin price will be very high fluctuate in the market. But don't think the same thing will happen in BTC trading. As a mate sometimes said it will take few months to go up or down in BTC price, in that situation, we must wait for the right time to sell or buy bitcoins. So in BTC trading don't expect some fixed profit, it will give profit but takes some time.
