Big difference between of them trading is much safer than investing. To invest you need to take risk to get profit but in trading is you need to have patience for you to get profit. Trading is easy to earn money but in investing they don't do fot a long term.

Simply in trading, success or failure depends on your skills and experience. If you have good experience and skills, you will minimize the risk from trading and bring profit to you but if you have no experience and skills, you will fail and lose money. In investment, you need most is the luck, skills and experience does not help you too much, the risk is quite high. If you want to make a profit from investment, you will need to wait for a certain amount of time and sometimes you will not get anything. Trading (safe, depend on you and a part of luck) - investment( risk, depend on your luck)
