Nope. Card is upgraded only on your SoG account. So when you sell it other guy will need to upgrade it again. If you will buy it back 1 year latter your account will count it as upgraded.

I think that altho GENOFLIGHT is strong Legendary card that is most rare in SoG, will most value still get from AUGMENTORS. It is pure speculation since no one knows how strong will creatures be and specially how song this creature will be, but creatures are way more rare then cards. You need minimum one creature but you need minimum 4 cards. Also GENOFLIGHT is originally Augmentors asset, so is normal is more cherished there. I am actually surprised if become Legendary card.
