Well your right thay we can't gamble without making any bet, but i think they want to say that the gambling is dice i think and betting IMO, anyways there's no difference about this two specially in betying because your money is in 50/50 like in dice your money also in 49/51 haha why 49? Do specify what kind of betting you are making, if that is for sports betting then I must say that there is no house edge on it, but if it's on dice we all know that the house edge is a big difference that's why we lose. Whatever we are doing as long as it involves money it can still be considered as gambling, and what I know is gambling is fun so we should have fun all the time.

Every casino game has a house edge, casinos are not charities they are in the business to make money and that is exactly what they do when they offer sports bets as well.

This. There's a bit of a "Juice" when sports betting. This ensures the casino comes out ahead in the advantage when sports betting. Trust me, the house ALWAYS has an advantage. Even when you're playing against other people, the house WILL make their money

Yeah I don know why the rumor that sports bet have no house edge has spread the way it has because is something that I have read a lot of times and that is simply not true.
