No, the millions are based on the the number of votes Le Pen has managed to attract over time.
They have never managed to attract support from the left or the l/r centrist in local / eu parlament / parliamentary elections.

For example on the last elections the FN (her party) managed to get 27% votes. She only got 22 right now.

Let's not even start the discussion about Turkey.
That was a result like the one in North Korea or Venezuela.

Maybe the New Yorkers stayed at home because they new that only half of them voting would get the votes needed.

My town is the bets example for this as the mayor got elected with 78% with a lower than 40% turnout.
Most people stayed at home because we all knew we was going to get elected there was simple no other option.
