And that's a fair point, but OP doesn't seem to understand the nature of advertising and who pays for it and the rationale behind it. It's a suggestion someone very young or very naive would make, honestly. There's no need to advertise bitcoin through media. Period.

Exchanges should advertise Bitcoin on TV or other media, they will definitely get some users getting into their site and try trading. that will be beneficial to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
