It's not caused by HF, Due to the massive adoption in japan for bitcoin, it makes more people try to buy some bitcoin in japan, especially some of the big banker in japan has started to make his own cryptocurrency and try to trade them with ethereum and bitcoin. Japan has driven all of this bullish thing. Nothing to say for HF, that just makes the bitcoin is dying.
But if we can gain a larger blocksize and more adoption will come for bitcoin. Just the matter of time. And wish the politicians on bitcoin try to stop his greedy campaign right now.

I dont agree with you. The other alts developing are actually helping and promoting the BTC. The alts are not traded directly, they have the option to trade them with the BTC and they are actually playing a big role in making the BTC a digital gold. The BTC is father of all, keep calm it is not going to die.
