I read the Bible and I'm reading again to see if I misunderstood it, but I must tell you that there is a lot of scary stuff in the Bible, OP even moderated a lot because I believe that OP could show more negative aspects of the Bible.

People want to know the history of the world. The Bible shows a picture of the kind of creatures people are.

You can go to libraries and find all kinds of books with good and bad stuff in them, just like the good and bad stuff in the Bible.

The difference is the the Bible is the only place that shows Jesus salvation to eternal life.
