Well the allegations of Russian interference in elections started last year after the US elections. I'm surprised that there's similar news again. Really hard to tell fact from fiction these days. On one hand, we know Russia would benefit from the US and EU states electing isolationists. On the other hand, we know the French election was the most contested in years and it's possible that any candidate would use the threat of foreign interference in the election to garner support and make people wary of the opposition.
