Alcohol is just another food item, like milk, fruit juice, or meat. The only problem is that those who consume alcohol beyond a particular limit will lose their consciousness and will act strangely. Sometimes, they can cause harm to those who are nearby. But you can't blame alcohol for that. The blame should be on the drinker.

Alcohol is mistakenly considered a food product. It is more like a remedy when you need to take a dosage.
