ICONOMI has become concerned about getting in trouble with the American SEC as an unregulated security. Many think poloniex will not list ICN because of this. So the devs changed from dividends to buyback-and-burn to distribute profits. This will make ICN increasingly rare.

Poloniex does not want to list a coin that is against the American SEC. Poloniex is an US located company, that is why. I think that it was a smart move from the iconomi team, since now ICN must be listed at poloniex.

So you saying ICONOMI made this decision just to comply with Poloniex terms and conditions so that they can list icn there?.
Is Poloniex that important that a crypto cannot survive without it?
And then what is stopping them from getting listed on Poloniex now?
If Poloniex denies to list icn outrightly, will ICONOMI go back to dividend payment?
