As far as the advise for limiting amounts of money when you gamble, as a gambler you should able to sustain that for any period of time. If you don't want to gamble anymore, get busy with life do some activities that lead you in a healthy lifestyle. It's not easy when the urge strikes but you really need to control yourself when that time comes.

Sacrifice your happiness to gamble if it will cost you a lot of money, it's alright to gamble and have fun always if we can still afford what we are spending, otherwise it will not help you as a person to grow. Everything we do will only lead to a waste of time if we let ourselves get addicted to gambling because it will just destroy what we have already started to grow, in short it will ruin our life and you can always blame that to yourself.
