Its always fun to gamble but the main intention of each and every gambler is to make profits from it as if luck favors you then gambling is the best way to earn money in quick time which is not possible with any other method so if a person claims that he is gambling only for fun then its not true as everyone who is into gambling is hoping to make huge money in quick time.

yes you are right that the main intention of people in gambling is to make profit but it is not for them, sometime they lose money a lot in their greed and when they do not control their greed and when they lose all the thing even sometime they become criminal and steal money for sake of gambling, so i think some people are still like this that they gamble only for fun that's why they avoid greed and only enjoy.
