Sunni Muslims are only around 60% of the population of Syria, and they are the backbone of the ISIS. Despite that, 99% of the Syrian refugees admitted to the United States and the European Union are Sunnis. It is almost impossible for Yazidis and Christians to get refugee status in these countries.

Say what? Why is that? How exactly do you get "refugee status". I mean, wouldn't it be enough that you fled from those countries?

Does the EU even deport some of the "refugees" shortly after arriving. I was really wondering why there are less Yazidis and Christians. Like, they are minorities in those countries but seriously, just 24 Yazidi? Could it be the the people on the ground preparing to ship refugees to Europe show a preference for Muslims? I mean, aside from traffickers, it's mostly governments there, like Turkey that handle the migration routes.

I believe Trump mentioned he'd be focusing on bringing in Christians during his campaign. Let's see how much he'll take in.
