If bitcoin shoots up to $10000 a pop then it is also easy for ETC to get to $100. ETC is decentralised, whilst ETH is basically manipulated by the eth team.

I don't think bitcoin price is so important. Fact that ETC is decentralised version of ETH is undeniable argument, this is why "they" dont like it .

Well good point, miners will take ETC as successor, and will influence price to rise.
This situation also can be very ungrateful for ETH so my expectation is that they maybe can be equal at the end.
One will fall other will jump..
