My policy of not sharing PMs isn't because I don't want to take the time. It is because my personal conversations with people are between me and them, and this new account alleging a scam has not proved to me he owns the account I was communicating with and has no right to see messages between me and that user. If an admin or staff member would like to look at my account, all the evidence is preserved there and I won't delete any of it.

I understand PM privacy which is why I was offering to vouch for the screenshots. Based on your response to the offer, it appeared that it was related to not wanting to waste time on this accusation. I guess I'll accept this as my mistake. The bolded solution above is a better idea anyway.
