The fun associated with gambling is mainly psychological and people who are having fun by losing their money are not actually thinking of their losses. They are actually thinking that they are getting closer to the big win that they will get eventually (until the house edge wipes them away). That is why they are so eager to get back to it and not stop gambling. According to me its a waste of time, but according to addicts its fun.

If he really think so about definition of gambling, I think he's not having fun, he just doing the stupid thing, wasting money and wasting time (I said this according to his definition).

he has the point, playing gambling on the long run will just give you negative feedback. It is hard to beat the house as we all know that it has a big funds so if you are satisfied with the profit you got better go out of that gaming site and keep your profit safe.

but once you will become addicted to gambling then you have to play it for long run and cannot stop it. but still there are some people who even play gambling for long long run and are making good money from there. i think in gambling we need to have good planning, because with good planning you can really show good result in gambling.
