I too have had the inconvenience of "waiting for approval" since confirming the withdrawal through email. I initiated the withdraw on 2017-06-08 16:57:29, submitted a support ticket after 24 hours and everyday I have asked for more information or release of my funds.

I never had any issues with deposits or withdrawals in the past with Poloniex and why I have remained patient and optimistic about my current situation. I have no evidence nor in a position to label them as "scammers" so I make no such claim.

As far as your situation and emailing the owner of Poloniex, I would check in the terms of service if it states anything about contacting the owner directly will result in your banned account.

I am going to be reviewing the terms of service today in case I need to escalate my current situation to an organization or agency with the power to assist me.

If anyone is having the same issues as I am or haven't received any response from support please reply to this post.

I also experienced the same problem and already 9 days withdrawal status is still "awaiting approval" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1950880.msg19380646#msg19380646, then last night I try to make a withdrawal again but I get the same message that is "awaiting approval", I also have made trollbox and it seems it does not work well because I did not get a quick response from poloniex.
Now I'm in a hurry because the BTC address I sent is time-based, if the issue is not quickly responded and resolved, I will lose all proceeds my work so far. Please help me. Cry
