Historically LTC has never claimed to be anything other than Silver to Bitcoins gold. Since the beginning the developers have done nothing but, reach out to BTC and other Alts. That hasn't changed. LTC price is going up and whenever that happens you'll see threads either ripping apart LTC or LTC threads ripping apart various coins. This is the internet anyone and their mother can post.

Look at the bigger picture and what significant people in the LTC community say. Unless someone is being outright dishonest the LTC community is an inclusive group that accepts other coins.

I know its the established wisdom that LTC is Silver to BTC Gold but personally I think thats fucking stupid. They are digital ledgers not fucking precious metals.

Litecoin is silver while Bitcoin is "golden" in most depictions. I think it makes sense in that regard, unless you color the coins differently. As for pricing, considering the bubble most coins are in, Litecoin might not be at the top yet.
