If you are right, you are right. My bad. I didnt see the tokens in myetherwallet, so I thought that they never arrive. Also I ask the staff of sonm precisely if the transaction will process even with other than recommended amount of gas and they answer to me quoting his faq "If you use ETH as medium for your SONM ICO deposit, set the Ethereum transaction to gas limit = 65000, or Ethereum wont process your transaction and your ETH deposit will return to your ETH address!" Thats the reason why I repeat the same transaction with the recomended gas. But its ok I have profit now.

Yeah for myetherwallet UI you have to add newer tokens to be able to view them.
Also, they say that because SO many people are sending transactions that they can't guarantee it I guess. But if the network isn't really mucked up I would assume a lower gas setting wouldn't be an issue at all. For the bat ICO I set my Gas to like 400k and it still failed xD
