It should be the same principle as mentioned here. So, what's on loan won't be counted, only what's on the balance. If you have a certain response from Poloniex, let us know. And Poloniex can keep some xlm for him.

The best is to have your btc in your own wallet : you're the only to have your private key and you can have all your XLM directly.
