You could get a higher rank member to post everything for you. They do it all the time. Just deserve the second post. The reason you want to reserve the second post is because that will be the post the higher rank account will use. So you need to make the thread then the person helping you must post on it right away to get the first comment then edit it as needed. I suggest to reserve tow comments oncase you need another for updates which is extremely useful.

Then the first post in the thread would be empty and the announcement (with images) would be in post #2?

Yes exactly. You can add text and things to the first post and pics on the second one. Many people do it. For exactly the same reason you need it done. What is your coin ? Or what are you announcing ?
