I don't think a lot of millionaires will invest into Bitcoin since it a speculative currency and they are rich enough.

I'm sure he personally invested a lot in bitcoin, I've read the article that he is one of the people who actively contribute to bitcoin development, in this case bill gates does not involve microsoft and participate separately because the microsoft domain is only for fiat.
