good question, an i am not sure about the answer!
you see the problem with bitcoin cash hard fork is that they are not setting a block for their fork for example saying we will fork after block 478500. instead there is a time which is Tue 1 Aug 2017 12:20:00 UTC. and it may take a while before they find the first block because of low hashrate. possibly 1 hour to 1 day.

you should first spend your bitcoin *After* the fork and *before* importing it in the BCC wallet.
it is not pasting, it is called importing. the rest look correct to me.
