You should link it as soon as possible, need not to wait near deadline time.
Even if you move btc balance from/to that address,
you still get rewarded based on whatever balance left in that address at the time of snapshot.

Yes I believe so. You would be rewarded again as long as the btc address you link still have the same amount in it.
Make sure it is still linked by checking it with the transition bot.
