Don't forget that according to Paul Vernon, Mullick knew immediately, along with at least one (maybe two) others in the office at the time, one of which called Paul at home in giving him the supposed heads up. You can almost lay odds on Paul's wife, Lorie Nettles, being aware most likely the same day. The ONLY people who weren't aware were the very people who should've been informed, e.g. 3-LAs which Paul and others versed in compliance knew needed to be informed but weren't because FBI Bridges was about (NOT HAD) to be indicted for his role in the SR case, so Paul prophetly knew that that wasn't an option according to his infamous Blog post.
