Im not that familiar with US laws, but could this potentially be considered laundering at most states? However i do not think that USA is best place to host such service at, hidden service would have been way better option IMO.
Hosting the servers on one of the nordic countries would have probably been alot better to the site. For example when piratebay was hosting the servers still at sweden, they were protected by the laws. I hope OP is not a US citizen because if service as this is not protected by law, the justice system at states i consider inhuman for some certain crimes.
