Using working miner code such as that built into the client might help fill your jar a little.

He asked how to get more connections to the network. You do so by forwarding the listen port to the computer hosting the client.

The only thing I told him that was incorrect was the port number, I accidentally told him to forward the rpc port instead of the listen port.

Maybe STFU next time before giving me attitude for trying to help someone else out.
