From what's been revealed, I can deduce that their main goal is to continue business. Otherwise they would have disappeared by now forever. But this involves the complete change of the rules. Those who are not able to comply - well that's a bye bye. Take or leave. And frankly I don't see so much to whine about considering how many of other exchange users have had verification already.

From what you are saying I can deduce that you are very likely from btce. Otwherwise you wouldn't agree with verification - I have not seen anybody who would be ok with it. Yes, other exchanges have verification but btce has not earned trust yet. In fact they are covered in all shades of gray and if they change the rules while playing it's another bad sign. If you deposit some crypto and get only 55% of it (and your money havent been seized) + token which is worth nothing because it has debt inside it is still only about 55% and 45% is stolen. Return the money first - all you can with appropriate crypto/fiat percentage and start verifying new users and those who wanna make transactions from returned money. Some will go away for sure, but it's the right way - the only way someone would trust your new bussiness.

Actually I haven't lost much and I basically wrote off and admitted my balance lost the day Vinnik was oficially claimed as btc-e owner. This is the only justification for not being greedy now, really.
