If you're going to say alcohol is OK, despite it causing many deaths while driving, by overdosing, or long-term damage to the liver and a person's intelligence, or to a woman's baby while in the womb, then you can't turn around and say drugs like marijuana and LSD are worthy of banishment, especially when their effects aren't as severe.

It is not just alcohol and tobacco. Dangerous drugs, which are having severe side effects (such as Oxycodone) are allowed to be used as prescription medication. And a major part of these drugs end up in the hands of drug addicts.
