Why could it not be done here? As for that anyone could publish that is true, but it is not hard to fact check. The updates I made about Bitcoin Cash and that you need to update to a new IOTA wallet is something you can check very easy once you know about it.

I don't understand why everyone is so sceptical about this, I would love to get this rolling.

There was actually one other critical update I saw from Trezor, that you need to update your Trezor to the latest firmware because there was a serious secrurity issue found where peolpe could hack your trezor if you have the old firmware, so anyone who have missed that and own a trezor should do it asap.
