This is what I'm thinking, in the next day or so, I should some of my bitcoin, buy Ethereum tokens, and wait for Ethereum to hard fork into Ethereum metropolitan/ Ethereum. After the split, I would transfer back to bitcoin, but guarantee myself some Ethereum metropolitan. This is a real problem, because BitCoin is in an upward trend, so is Ethereum.

There will be a hard fork, but there will not be a split.

Of course, there wouldn't be a split. The contentious lot has gone over to Ethereum Classic. After Metropolitan, the more different the two ETH chains will be.
