I purchased a ETH 4.0000 MH/s contract on 6/28/17 and have been paid twice since then in BTC. I have contacted them 2 separate times and they have failed to respond about payouts not being sent. My understanding is that Genesis was suppose to pay out daily. Can someone please explain what the heck is going on with this company?

We are sorry for the delayed payouts that you experienced in the last two weeks. The reason is that we were required to rebuild our server infrastructure after a security breach that happened two weeks ago. The mining operation itself is not (and never was) affected by this. That said, we are conducting another bulk payment today (7th of August), covering all three previous mining days (4th, 5th & 6th of August). They should pop up in your wallet shortly.

Furthermore, until all website issues and the payout backlog problems are solved, we will temporarily switch to a new payout schedule: Instead of paying out daily, we will payout all funds every two days so the next payout is scheduled for the 9th of August, covering the payouts of 7th and 8th of August. This is only a measure to take pressure off the daily routine until we are sure that our infrastructure is again capable of performing without problems; we will then return to daily payouts as soon as possible. "

Hey miners! Were glad to announce that weve returned to our daily payout schedule! Thank you for your patience in the last weeks We strive to be the best hashpower provider in the world and as any business in this new industry were hit with unexpected challenges and downtimes.

Some of you are still missing past Monero, Ethereum and balanced credit card payouts and we want to assure you that our IT and Customer Service team is working hard to get them to you.

Genesis Mining provides payouts for over a dozen different and independent cryptocurrencies and we want to assure you that not a single payout gets lost on the way. Were carefully tracking all user balances and cryptocurrency blockchains and a missing transaction does not imply that funds are lost or wont be paid out eventually.

As all of these blockchain protocols and networks are in constant development we not only need to keep every single software daemon updated, but also carefully stress test its capabilities as no software is ever bug free or immune to overload. Additionally, each protocol network can suffer enormous pressure and transaction congestions at certain times as happened in the past. Some of these challenges are easily fixed in bulk, others need to be carefully reviewed one by one.

Please also note that theres always a certain delay until transactions are propagated to their networks and finally confirmed, which leads some Block Explorers to show errors or completely missing transactions if searched for via a transaction hash.

As usual, the mining operation itself continues to work and is not affected by any payout delays. If you think youre missing a payout and opened a ticket, our customer service team will assist you as soon as they can.

In the meantime were improving the overall service user experience and our mining team is busy ramping up new hashpower for Bitcoin, Litecoin & Dash. Were also looking into enabling Bitcoin Cash mining and will update you on the overall progress in the coming days.
