Also do consider automatic stop loss trades that activate when large sell comes in.. One stop loss activates another stop loss and so on. That generates an automatic dump in market value.

Right; that's possibly what some try to trigger. Plus, it seems fresh coins/tokens with potential and with attention are very good for such a thing (draw buyers then dump them).
