I have been supporting ICN for a long time so I think it might not be a bad idea, at the other side Dash is expected to have a higher difficulty in hashrate so I speculate there will be a higher price (if not a lower price)

At the moment my top3 alt coins I'm planning to invest:

1. Opus [OPT] - 20k
2. DeepOnion [ONION)] - 15k
3. Netko [NETKO] - 15k

My plan is to hold those by the end of this year. I expect 5-10x on invested.

another suggestion is ripple xrp, actually is quite stable with huge potential in the last quarter of 2017 and full 2018, only my opinion, don't forget to do you own research !
