Its quite the opposite - wise men dont gamble they use their wisdom elsewhere and make money via that hard work that they put in. They dont put in money and let luck take its roll. People who gamble even if they are wise they will make mistakes if they play for long and allow their emotions to take over. Also a wise person will understand the consequences of gambling and that there are other methods of making money.

I agree more towards your stance. The wise wont gamble. Those who gamble and get rich is because they usually gamble with others and not against the house. And everyone should know the games are designed to make you lose.
