We have so many religions because of many different cultures and traditions around the world.
Why terrorism?
In fact, terrorism exist since the beginning of humankind, nothing new here.
Terrorism have goal to scare people, to force stronger countries to change policy and accept viewpoint of weaker countries or groups.
It's also act of despair.
We can stop terrorism only if we solve causes of terrorism, not consequences but it's very complex topic.

If all religions lead to the same God, we would no doubt expect them to make efforts to unite humanity and contribute to peace
