in a nutshell Kyber is an exchange while 0x is a protocol where other dApps can use it as a component. All else equal, protocols are more valuable because different projects can be built on top of it.

but is not kybernetwork taking away part of the market from the 0x project? I believe that he will take it. Maybe I'm wrong.

one thing i learned in business, no competitor means no market, most of the time. I mean this is almost an unexplored way to exchange token, so more project bring attention and engagement on it, more bigger will be the room of growth for everyone. The important thing is that no one makes false steps.

think at it like bittrex, poloniex, bitfinex and so on, each one is growing day by day. Moreover 0x being a protocol will be the basis for most of the project so at least it will be a problem for kyber, for 0x it will be a WIN WIN situation =D
