I think I have the latest version - I downloaded and compiled it on my Linux box this morning (UK time). From the debug.log:

I'm getting "POOL DOWN-REVERTING TO SOLO MINING;" on 1.0.3.5b linux miner and hence the miner not hitting the pool :
