I have just set up the public JSON PRC endpoint, so right now you can use myetherwallet as a lightweight web wallet if Parity full node is not an option. See the first post for instructions on how to do this.

My pool had to be killed, the parity is very aggressive, scanning the network. The VPS owners considered this an attack). For two days I explained to them what had happened.

Sorry to hear that. Some VPS can be really P2P-application unfriendly. Might want to consider to switch a VPS provider.

Also, see whether run parity with "--allow-ips public" helps with this problem.
