Maybe because of the excitement that we can get in playing gambling. We cannot experience that in any other kind of activities just in gambling. We play not just because of profit but maybe also because of the experience and enjoyment that we can have.

Only some people who gamble for excitement but most of other gamblers only gambling for making an easy money. They know that it is a high-risk game but still they want to try their luck because this is the only way they get an opportunity to make money without doing work. Who don't want to work hard only those people mostly addict to these games and continue gambling even though they always lose money.
