Actually the cryptocurrency world has too many altcoins, same idea and clone more coins every day. It makes the ecosystem of the cryptocurrency world become bad more and in someday, we will have a cryptocurrency world with many shitcoin everywhere.

I would also add that some new altcoins with the same concept and idea, but with better development and technology by entering market, just move away coins that were gaining potential, it is just a "war" in crypto world where only the strongest coins will survive.
