Is it fair because one part of your country makes money and that part wants to separate because it doesn't want to share the wealth ?..

We have London thinking we make all the money so why should we share..

See business has been getting put there on purpose so that part becomes wealthy and because it becomes wealthy they want no part in sharing the wealth with the whole country ..

Imagine your government getting a contract to build a stadium for sports events..
Now because the government will pick LONDON instead of wales all that money you used to pay for the stadium and was paid for by your taxes off everyone's taxes in your country..

BUT only London made the money off the stadium because shops got more business the stadium made your city of London more money by the events they hold..

So because London gets all the Business they should be allowed to say to the rest of the country well we made the money so it's all ours?..

So what happens if you have a WAR?..

Will your part who asked to be independent because they was making good money and didn't want to share with the rest of the country who are not doing to good will you be asking for help if your attacked in WAR?..

So you think SPAIN should then help you out ..

Good point mate. I agree, unfortunately, many countries that has colonized other lands are mostly doing it for added resources and power. The more lands and resources they control the more power they hold, and most importantly, the more money they can make. Nowadays, the world runs in a comparative way on who's country has the most power, money, resources and land. Therefore, if a country wants to compete and portray itself a strong nation, they would do everything, and sadly, part of it is holding other lands under their control.
