I agree with this as well. The cost savings from having four boards paneled does not equal the expense of replacing/repairing 4 boards in the event of a failure. That being said, once we get closer to the Fab date, with working prototypes being burned, The K64 will be revisited.

The K1 is still there as well. I'm deciding on the best way to approach the manufacturer about this.

Yes. Testing will be an available option. The details have not yet been worked out. Depending on the process, it may be done in house or buy us back at the shop. More on that to come, but it will be available.

See above. K16's are smarter, though possibly a few cents more expensive.

To clarify in the interim:

Board hosting will be offered. Prices tentatively set at 8% plus electricity.

Board assembly will be offered. Prices tentatively set at below $60.00.
Assembly runs will begin once the minimum amount of chips has arrived for each run.
Assembly is available to those who did not purchase through this thread, though delays will increase final ship time.
