Maybe because of the hard fork that is announced to happen in November, but I have my doubts it is going to happen, the miners put themselves in a bad position, if they fork they are going to be seen as greedy since they are doing this for the money, but if they do not fork they are going to be seen as not following their word and as weak, so it is not an easy call.
