Probably they would put a mechanism in the system to just buy gzr with fiat for this kind of things.

You can't expect a player abandon his game buy some gzr from exchange and send it to hiss gzr account

It is important to understand the difference between Boost and GZR. Boost is the in app currency of Gizer. Boost can be used to facilitate different transacitons on the Gizer network and is tied to fiat currency. It is currently used to facilitate tournament prizes, pay entry fees and redeem cash rewards. GZR tokens represent an unlockable profile item tied to a users Global Gaming Identity. You won't able to buy and sell GZR on the app from day 1, but we have many plans to greatly increase the utility of the token. Boost can be earned by users by watching Ads and completing surveys, or can be purchased in app. Additionally, boost can be won from participating in tournaments. Boost can also be used to redeem rewards for cash equivalent prizes

So as far as I understand Boost isn't a crypto currency but the in app currency of Gizer and is only used on your platform. I am picturing it as something similar to your account balance on steam. Is this correct? Why did you implement Boost and what are the advantages of having Boost instead of USD?

Boost was implemented specifically with mobile gamers in mind, users often find it akin to gems in Clash Royale. While in its current form it serves for only tournaments, it will also be used for purchasing GGID items, as well as other transactions where we will not be able to initially use GZR. If you take a look at our item distribution here: https://imgur.com/B71Q8v9 you'll notice that there are common, rare, legendary, insane and unfathomable items. Common items, as well as rare items, will also be purchasable with boost, whereas GZR items represent significantly more impactful, collectible and sought after items. We will transition over from the boost system to a blockchain based system which fully utilizes the potential of GZR down the line. This is the best move from a legal standpoint, but we also believe that it will help widespread adoption of GZR items as more players begin surfacing with the incredible items they unlock from GZR and many players will want to emulate this.

About the items you can get: What use do the avatars and items have in the platform? Is it just an avatar or can you do more with it and theses items?
