Expired means something is wrong with the masternode. Pre_enabled means that it is waiting to be accepted by the network. This usually takes between 30 minutes to an hour. If it goes to expired I would double check the setup.

CoinExchange just emailed me and said TRC is enabled again. Haven't had time to test yet!
